Lucid is a social enterprise established by Anex, a charitable, not-for-profit organisation whose charter is to prevent and reduce drug-related harm by facilitating the provision of effective, evidence-based interventions. Many individuals and communities are not directly engaged in the area in which Anex operates until their alcohol and other drug problems are severe. By going ‘upstream’, Lucid seeks to make a real difference by identifying and resolving alcohol and drug problems as early as possible.

“Lucid is a commendable new initiative that deserves our support. Alcohol and other drugs cost our economy an estimated $56.1 billion in lost productivity, crime, accidents and health costs and have a significant impact on families, relationships and livelihoods.
Supporting Lucid will help create a strong and supported community free of alcohol and other drug harms. We encourage you to help Lucid’s establishment and important work for our communities.”
