Your donation will enable Lucid to:
- Expand community education programs - Lucid aims to stage more community awareness campaigns that emphasise drugs users come for all walks of life. We want people to understand that stigma isolates people and prevents them from accessing the support they need.
- Fund the Lucid at Work program – We are raising funds to develop Lucid workplace programs, specifically in industries that experience problematic alcohol and other drug misuse. This program is committed to providing pathways for people to address their problems as early as possible, including through referral.
- Help people access treatment – Lucid will create an ‘innovation fund’ where organisations can apply for funding that helps people access treatment for addiction in their local community. We’ll share learnings from these programs throughout Australia.
- Fund International Overdose Awareness Day – Approximately one Australian dies every day as a result of opioid overdose – this figure does not include deaths due to alcohol and other drugs. Lucid seeks to drive an extensive overdose awareness campaign that includes community education, workforce development and advocacy.
