The 30 Portraits 30 Days Exhibition took place at the NGV Studio, Flinders Street, Federation Square, Melbourne from 23 June – 29 July 2012
The Hon. Bob Hawke AC, Baz Luhrmann, Kimbra and Matt Moran were among the 30 inspirational Australians whose portraits were painted in as many days by acclaimed artist, Vincent Fantauzzo.
Fantauzzo undertook this challenge to help us achieve one of our primary aims – highlighting the real issues around how alcohol and other drugs affect the community. The results of his artistic marathon formed the 30 Portraits 30 Days exhibition.
Lucid is a new social enterprise established to help protect individuals, organisations and communities from the detrimental effects of alcohol and other drugs. 30 Portraits 30 Days aimed to start the kind of conversations that will lead to people seeking help.
